Guests & access
Do our guests need to download an app?
No. Your LIT VOW app opens in any phone browser from a link or QR code, on iPhone and Android alike. Guests can add it to their home screen in one tap if they like.
Is our wedding app private?
Yes. Each LIT VOW app can be protected with a wedding PIN, so only the guests you share it with can see your schedule, venues, travel details and photos.
Can guests leave video or voice messages?
Yes, on Signature. Guests can record a short video, a voice note or write a message for the two of you — kept together for you to relive.

Photos & privacy
How does the Selfie Photo Finder work?
A guest takes or chooses a selfie, and the app shows the shared photos they appear in. The selfie is used only to match them in shared photos, then discarded — never stored or shared elsewhere.
Is LIT VOW compliant with GDPR, DPDPA and PIPEDA?
LIT VOW is designed around privacy laws including the GDPR, India’s DPDP Act, Canada’s PIPEDA and US state privacy and biometric laws: explicit consent before any selfie matching, no selling of data, clear retention limits, and a simple way to exercise your rights. How long do you keep photos and messages?
Guest photos, messages and RSVPs are kept for 12 months after the wedding so you can download them, then deleted — sooner if you ask.
Can a guest ask for a photo to be removed?
Yes. Guests can ask the couple, or write to designmyapp@litvow.com, and we will remove it.

Languages & traditions
Can our app be in Chinese, French or another language?
Every LIT VOW app is custom designed, so your pages can be written in the languages your families read — English, 中文, Français, or a mix of them.
Do you work with couples in the USA and other countries?
Yes. LIT VOW designs apps for couples across Canada, the USA and worldwide — local weddings, multicultural celebrations and destination weekends alike.

Plans & getting started
What is the difference between Essential and Signature?
Essential includes your custom design, RSVP and events, travel and stay, the gallery and the Selfie Photo Finder. Signature adds a custom monogram, guest audio and video messages, and priority service.
